What an honor! Today our house was featured over on the totally awesome Design Mom blog. Gabrielle has been running a feature called Living With Kids for quite sometime now and I was beyond excited when she asked if we wanted to be a part of it. You can head on over and read my interview about living and decorating with kids and trying to balance it all. There are lots of pictures over there but here are a few I don’t think I’ve ever shared with you guys from around the house.
^^Our downstairs bathroom. Instagram prints are from Social Print Studio (they have a super awesome and easy to use app). I just attached them to the wall using these permanent glue dots.
^^Our bedroom. I love how simple it is. Brings me a lot of peace to be in there.
^^Totally stole that hanging plant idea from ABM. Thanks girls!
^^Hand wrote (with paint pen) the words to the hymn “Be thou my vision” on our wall behind our dresser. Love reading these beautiful worlds everyday.
Im going to have to steal that coat hanger idea!!! too cool;) my mind is wandering already!

Love your home! Wanted to see if you had read this post about foster care by another blogger I read regularly: http://www.bluntmoms.com/break-know/
It will bring tears to your eyes, but will definitely even further solidify your decision to foster!
so i’ve definietely told you that you remind me of my mom before (art teacher etc) but OMG that vintage radio…that is the exact same radio I grew up with in my mom’s house. LOVE IT.

What a nice little nursery! Would you mind sharing some details? Specifically where you found the “Go to Sleep” print and that sweet pillow on the rocking chair? Thanks!
Great feature Jen! Your home is lovely. Love the peaceful seeming simplicity of your design. Thanks for sharing π
What a beautiful home! I was just wondering if you actually kept all those plants in the locations pictured above, or if they were arranged specially for the photos. I struggle to find enough places to show off my plants while still getting them enough sun! Thanks!
