I think I’ve had to come to the realization that this just isn’t my season when it comes to blogging. Which I am sure most of you could have figured out already. Hello like 3 posts all month! Feeling neck deep (in a good way) with real life and motherhood these days and blogging just is not happening all that much. I am ok with that. It’s life and I really am enjoying ours. The girls are just so busy at this age. They keep me on my toes with pretty much no down time till after they go to bed. Seriously, can someone with 3+ kids share their wisdom because I can’t figure out how we’re going to be adding more kids to the mix (yep, still waiting for our first placement). Finley in and of herself is a full time job. That girl is mischievous but she sure has a stop you in your tracks and melt your heart kind of smile- even when she is coloring on your bedspread with a sharpie. DOH! I wouldn’t change our days for anything. Even with the chaos, exhaustion and practically no “me” time, these girls are my everything. Heck! That is one of the reasons I wanted to homeschool. I just want them around.
I love taking these “Our Everyday Style” pictures. It’s like a little record of the 3 of us at that particular moment. This one can be labeled: End of Summer 2014. On this day in particular I woke up early to go to a Foster Care meeting with Faithbridge at a local church in the area. What a cool organization. When I got home the girls and I did some errands, visited the library, and cooked some delicious chocolate zucchini muffins before heading to the town pool for one of the very last times this summer (boooo!). It wasn’t a particularly extraordinary day but one that represents this season of life.
and can we just talk about how cute the Minnetonka for Hello Kitty collaboration is??

That jumper!?! SO cute! Love your style Jen, but love even more how genuine you are in every post! Can’t wait to see you speak at the Influence Conference!
I love reading your posts!:) thank you for sharing your thoughts, I know the time you spent making these posts is precious!!!
I have 4 little ones! 7.5, 5.5, 3.5 and 18m! Wow….. Looks like a lot of work!:) and IT IS!!! I don’t think we are meant to have more time for us in this season of being at home with our little ones! I am JUST like you! Fully immersed in my everyday with the children. My “me” time isn’t until after they go to bed!!! And Daddy works an afternoon/evening shift. I’m on my own for dinner/bath and bed times 3/4 days a week. It’s sooo much work. But so worth it!!!! Hang in there and know indeed it is just a season!!!! :):):) I have to remember it too! And embrace every moment, the good and the not so good. Before we know it these little ones won’t be so little!!!!:):) XOXO
On a side note: can you share/email the link or recipe for zucchini chocolate muffins?!?! I know you are clean eating and we are trying to also!!! I love treats though and so do my kids! I want to find YUMMY clean eating treats to bake for us all!!! :):) Thanks Jen!
I love the chambray shirt layered under the jumper! Very cute :).

Oh my goodness, your family is darling!
I have three littles and I will tell you that the transition from 2 to 3 is way easier than the transition from 1 to 2. You already know how to multitask! You are still as busy, but at least you are used to it!
Homeschooling my oldest this year did add a little bit of extra stress for me, but that is why I like the idea of CC. Looks like we will be in the same group! This time, I won’t be scared to say hi LOL (JR’s sister).
Loved this post Jen! We are expecting our first little one (a girl!) in December and I’m just looking so forward to a season of having young children. I’m such a over-planner, doer, achiever that I know this season will challenge me in ways I never knew. I want to be cautious not to do *too* much that distracts from being present during this season. I want to surrender to the season and everything that comes along with it. Reading blogs like yours are one of my greatest sources of inspiration in this regard. Thank you for continuing to share your heart. I’ll always be here to read these encouraging posts, no matter how frequently or infrequently you’re able to publish them 😉
You had a wonderful and blessed family. Good photo shoots!
Finley looks like a little rocker! love it.
Love the tights and footwear!
