A few things about this outfit…
1. I like wearing scarfs bandana style. It makes me feel like I’m still 17 going to a hardcore show.

2. Growing your bangs out sucks. And will always be the worst.

3. I love the color of this skirt. Also, I swapped it with Julie and when I wear it I think of her and that makes me happy.

4. This skirt is still a little tight in the waist (baby weight. grrr). Not the right choice when I had to sit most of the day yesterday in the car or at moms group. #suckingitin

5. This shirt is amazing. Go buy it now. It’s on sale and I promise it will go with EVERYTHING

6. That is all. We are off to ikea today. Let’s hope this 3 hour drive is worth it.

  2. I miss you and I love you, and that skirt looks amazing on you.

  3. You look fabulous! The color(s) of the skirt & scarf are gorgeous.

  4. The color of the skirt is gorgeous and I am glad to hear that I am not the only one with emotional attachment to clothing items!

  5. oooh i love these colors and you look absolutely tiny.

  6. We’ve been making regular trips to Ikea because I am addicted to their dill-covered crispbread and gingerbread Christmas biscuits. Luckily ours is only 10 minutes away and there’s a fantastic playground in the super centre where it’s located – it’s our rainy-day go-to.

  7. I love your fuchsia skirt! Btw, you look great (and I can’t even tell you had a baby), although I can relate to the post baby belly fat problems 😉

  8. You look amazing. The color of the skirt is beautiful and it matches with the scarf.

  9. Love the whole look. Those colors look SO pretty on you and together-perfection! 🙂 I’m also growing my bangs out… I always feel on the fence about it. The only thing getting me through is learning how to side braid my bangs. Otherwise, I’d probably keep them forever, ha.

  10. Growing a pixie cut out is the absolute worst. It’s a mullet for months.

  11. I am constantly growing out my bangs and then cutting them off again. It is a never ending cycle of hair unhappiness.
    I love your outfit!

  14. You are the cutest ever. Love that color! And I might try rocking my scarf bandana style. I could use some 17 hard core show goer me back in my life :).

  15. super cute Jen! When I try my little style shoots I always think “how does Jen look so natural when she does this?” Then I try to mimic your looks…Haha. not very good at it!
I love that skirt, and it is super flattering on your little waist. And that second to last pic of you is a favorite of mine–such a cute expression.
See you soon! I’ll keep the sun out for ya!

  16. Love scarves worn bandana style. And I love the colours in this outfit… the scarf ties it all together so perfectly too!! Hope your week is awesome, Jen!

Hey there, Sarah again, this is last time I’ll bug you- promise! Just curious, are you tall? I’m 5’10 and want to try ordering Tall sizes from JCrew/Gap/etc, but the selection is always so much more limited. So I’m tempted to just order the normal sizing, but it’s hard to know how it will fit… I only ask because you look tall {but I could be wrong!} and the normal sizes obviously work for you.

And yes, {regarding the other comment} small world! I used to shop at the Waikele outlets all the time, LOL. We lived in Mililani. Living in North Country kind of makes a Hawaiian trip essential, so have a great time! 🙂
