A Halloween Baby Shower

halloween20124

Since things have been so busy lately, we went the simple route this year for Halloween. You can’t go wrong with Bandits. I was totally inspired by this post over on Say Yes to Hoboken this year. Anyway, I thought we were heading to a Halloween party at a friends house on Saturday and was completely surprised to find out it was a Halloween themed baby shower for us!! We have the greatest friends!! It was perfect. No silly games, no being the center of attention in a room full of ladies, just good friends, good food, and lots of awesome costumes. Now that is my kind of party!

  2. you guys look great! I love the fact that Rowan got her own bandit costume – she’s so adorable. 🙂

  3. how adorable! what great friends! love how rowan matches you two!

    xo

  4. So cute! looks like such a fun day and you look amazing.

  5. You all look so cute! I especially love the Wayne and Garth!

  6. So cute! All your friends look super nice and fun, bet it was the best halloween baby bash ever!

  7. Surprise baby shower, how awesome is that! Your costume is a simple idea done well, looks great 🙂

  8. Oh my! So cute! And I love the stick figure costumes!

  9. Now, that is my kind of shower. I never liked traditional showers either. For my wedding shower, my sister had to throw a surprise party just so that I’d actually show up. lol! It ended up being a Vegas themed shower which turned out to be a lot of fun! Black jack and poker games 🙂

  10. Love your bandit costumes! We are in need of a last minute costume and this might be perfect 🙂

On another note– I read the part that you lived in Hawaii (where I’m from) and realized I pass Hibiscus Hill EVERY DAY. We live in Mililani and pass it to head to town for work and whatnot… also– I think my friends are friends with a few of the people you used to hang out with — it is such a small world. Small island, anyway.

  11. FUN! Great costume idea. and what a very cool baby shower idea!
(Dave and I never come up with anything creative…)
Can’t wait to see Rowan! 🙂

  12. I loved your unique and creative costumes and had to add you to my round-up, “87 Creative Halloween Couples Costumes” (http://www.thedatingdivas.com/holidays/halloween/87-creative-couples-costumes/). Thanks for being awesome and Happy Halloween from The Dating Divas xox
