Apple Picking | A Fall Tradition…

I am sure it’s everyones fall tradition to go apple picking in the fall, but for us it will always hold some extra special meaning. It was our very first family outing after Rowan was born. She was just days old and off we went on our first little adventure together. Look at how dang tiny she was!! Crazy.

We love this cute little farm just south of Albany to go apple picking. It’s not crazy busy, cute animals, low spray, and delicious cider donuts. Mmmmmm! We spent most of the afternoon just wondering through the rows of apple trees with Rowan. It’s not the best apple season this year and the apples were hard to find. It’s pretty cute watching Rowan eat apples that are just her size though. We found lots of teeny tiny ones!

  2. oh my goodness jen! you and your family are just so beautiful. the pictures of your sweet rowan and the goats are pure perfection!!!

  3. so cute! Miss you guys!!

  4. I’m actually hoping to go for the first time ever this year! Growing up we really only went blueberry and blackberry picking (in BC, Canada). It’s still 80F at least here in Southern California though not very Fall like 🙁

  5. That outfit Rowan is wearing is so cute! She’s such a cool little kid. :o)

  6. Your boots are incredible! Did you add the sparkles yourself?

  7. A girl after my own heart! A visit to the orchard in the fall is one of those sweet experiences that offsets what’s coming–winter. I always buy more than I should, but it’s fun to surprise people I know with a 1/2 peck. Plus you get to try new varieties that you can’t always find in the store. Cute, cute outfits! Love your blog.

  8. Love the pictures! I really want to go apple picking this year! Unfortunately we completely missed the peak season and it ended last Saturday (when it rained like crazy) until next year! I am determined to add this to our lists of to do’s in the fall.

  9. That’s interesting, we have many apples around here!

  10. these pictures kill me. she is just the sweetest little girl ever. xo

  11. This is too cute! I want to go apple picking so badly, but I’m not sure that I’m feeling up to it at 36 weeks pregnant. Maybe I’ll just save it for next year, and make it an outing with the baby.

  12. rowan in red skinny jeans might be the cutest thing i’ve ever seen.

  13. She is so dang cute, I love her outfit! She was so tiny in the post you linked to. Just think, next fall when you go, you will have 2 kids to bring!

  14. Can we talk about your amazing shoes. I love anything with sparkles on it!!!

  15. I actually love that farm! we used to drive from long island to albany side for apple picking even though there are plenty of farms on long island. you should frame the last two pictures. just so beautiful!!

  16. A day of apple picking typically involves much more! Many farms also have attractions like animal barns, hay play areas, bakeries, and tractor rides. It’s a perfect way to spend a fall day.
