I finally found a reason to like/enjoy low rise pants! Usually I can’t stand them, but at least now they let me wear non maternity pants longer. My growing belly can sit right on top (that’s really weird to say). I wear longer tanks or a belly band anyways while pregnant so it works out just perfect. Score! I have been wearing this sweater nonstop since it came in the mail last week. It is so thick and warm. It’s like a jacket almost. I like my new haircut but I only really love it when I can curl it. That doesn’t happen everyday so most days I will be honest and say it’s in a ponytail or up in a bun. Good thing I can work on growing it out a little bit again before the baby is here. Wow. That was a lot of random thoughts about this outfit.

Like my new “Mommy bag”? I don’t like using the word diaper bag. Especially when it’s for a bag as cool as this. The nice people over at JJ Cole Collections were gracious enough to send me this new bag and some other goodies (bottle pod & a diapers and wipes pod) for the new baby. I have been using the bag for a week already and have gotten lots of compliments. I am head over heels. My favorite part? It has insulated Sippy cup holders on the side of the bag. This makes my life so much easier. Love them!

  1. Your random thoughts made me smile. I hope they made you smile too. You look great πŸ™‚

  2. You look great! Fun green pantsÒ€¦and what a great “mom bag!” I’m the same–I just carry a huge purse and then collect everything under the sun in it. πŸ˜‰
    Keep it up–you’re doing amazing!

  3. I also just discovered the convenience of low rise pants for a growing belly. I just went to Old Navy last night, and got me some cute skinnies for $19! They have alot of cute colors, and some are even cords if you are looking for more. I think I may have to go back and get green now πŸ™‚

  4. That bag is awesome! And it will look great with everything.

You are so dang cute! I hope the next time I’m pregnant that I can dress that cute πŸ™‚

  5. You are SO adorable!

  6. My go to outfits last year when I was pregnant were skinny jeans, pants, cords of any kind, long tanks, loose tops, dresses and cardigans. I wore the same pants over and over and just changed up my top and shoes. πŸ™‚

  7. I really hope I am as put together and cute as you when I am pregnant one day πŸ™‚

  8. You look great! The polka dot sweater is so cute. The mommy bag is great in the first pic I thought it was just a normal purse.

  9. that sweater is divine!! you look adorable.

  10. It must be great finding non-maternity but maternity appropriate clothes, and these jeans are gorgeous!! I’m eying a pair of green skinny jeans and just might have to get them – lovely inspiration Jen! Hope your weekend is fantastic! xo V

  11. Love that sweater-if only it wasn’t still summer temps in Texas. I’m trying to find inspiration as I enter my 16th week. None of my pants fit, and I’m going to try your plan for low rise.

    Thanks!!

  12. You look wonderful! I’m 34 weeks and can’t fit into much of anything anymore. I’ve been longing for a pair of colored skinny jeans, but I’ll definitely have to wait until after the baby comes! I’m loving the color of yours, and also your sweater.

  13. Love this cute look! The colored pants trend is so much fun! πŸ˜‰
I recently got a loose spiral perm and it has made getting ready so much easier – just a spray of water to dampen and revive the curl and I’m ready to go. No curling necessary unless I want to! πŸ˜‰

  14. so so cute! i usually hate lowrise too, but can imagine its super comfy with a baby belly πŸ™‚ cute sweater!

  15. Those polka dots are perfect! If I ever end up needing a diaper bag, I hope I end up with a cute one like this! The bags that look more like adorable purses rather than smelling diaper haulers are great πŸ™‚
