Sometimes the life of being a mom takes over my everyday. That is a funny thing to say because of course it does, but I mean towards how I dress. I find myself more and more casual these days. It’s ok. I don’t mind it. I gives me a chance to try and get creative with being casual and comfortable but still put together. There are days though were the girl who loves to dress up for no reason at all still sneaks through. I LOVE dressing up.
I really liked putting this outfit together. The bow, the leather jacket, the floral print. Seems like it says “Jen” to me!
Are you someone who likes to get dressed up? Or do you just love to be casual?

I love dressing up. It takes more effort for me dress down than it does to dress up.
I’ve found that since I started staying at home full time with my daughter I am much, much more casual. It was a hard transition for me a first because I felt like I was in a rut of “comfy clothes” and it got a little monotonous after a while. I’m getting the hang of it now though, I’ve found that adding more pattern to my outfits helps things from getting too boring. Its been fun to play around with.
I’m a very casual dresser.. but it also depends on the event and my mood of course. You always look cute, casual or dressed up!

This is just how I feel, Jen! Except it’s not the life of being a mom that takes over, in my case, just my new job. But I relish the weekends when I can take the time to dress up in an outfit which truly feels “me”.
I think I could make myself walk in those heels just because they are so fabulous.
