This DIY is so super easy and so fun. Are you ready? All you need is…
1. Get this drip pan from walmart. The drip pan is awesome because it will have a cool metal edge all around it after you paint it. It looks more finished than if you just painted a piece of wood. Also, the lip does a good job of catching the chalk dust!
2. Paint it with chalkboard paint (3 coats)
4. Draw, draw, draw!!
Fun for the whole family!!
*inspired by this pin.
Is there any reason a drip oil pan works better than just a piece of timber? I’d love to make one.
I really love this idea and diy project!
Haha, I just bought pink chalkboard paint! 🙂 Just don’t know what to paint with it…
Could be a magnetic board too!!! Fun for magnetic letters and favorite magnets:) my little guy does that at preschool:) I LOVE this chalkboard idea Jen!!! Awesome:):)
Chalkboard paint is the best thing ever!! I just painted the little desk nook in my apartment with it. So fun, and I still have some left over. Does it stick pretty well to the metal?
What a great idea. My family would love this, but I do wonder what messages they might leave!
This is so awesome! Thanks for the inspiration. I just read this and after my little 16-month-old buddy wakes up for his nap we are taking a trip to Walmart to buy this! Love it
