We headed out to the pumpkin patch on Saturday afternoon for a bit. It ended up not being a very good one and it started raining. Doh! I hate fields of already picked pumpkins but Rowan couldn’t tell the difference, so we made the most of it. She loved running from pumpkin to pumpkin trying to pick them up. She also loved being pulled around in the Radio Flyer wagon. The farm did have delicious cider donuts and like 300 carved pumpkins, which were very well done. Our fingers are crossed for a real pumpkin patch next weekend. Although, we did have a great time at this one.
Hi, I'm Jen!
Welcome to my personal lifestyle blog. It features topics such as motherhood, family life, fashion, cooking, and all sorts of adventures. I hope you enjoy what you find!
How precious! I sort of want her jacket for myself. :\
Looks like a fun day!
So cute! I love your striped sweater, where is it from??
That looks like fun! I love your boots!
Aww looks like fun! I wish it would hurry up and cool down here in California, it’s still in the mid/high 80’s. We’re supposed to be going the pumpkin patch this weekend and I hope it’s not too hot out lol.
Cute coats! Yours and Rowans!
Oh her outfit is super cute! And those carved pumpkins look awesome. Hopefully the next patch is tons of fun!
Most of the pumpkin patches are going to be similar this year- the heavy rains we had this year caused the pumpkins (and also peanuts- apparently peanut butter prices will be going up 30% in November) to rot on the ground. Most of the ones in our neck of the woods were imported (and super expensive)
jen, where is that coat from? i need it!
I took my 11th month old to a ” pumpkin patch” a few weeks ago only to discover that they just dumped pumpkins in a harvested corn field. I was disapointed but I guess a lot of patches do this. I think it is kinda weird.
We went to the pumpkin patch this weekend too! I think it’s just as fun when you are all grown up.
wow, looks like you guys had a great time, I have never been to a pumpkin patch before but from your photos I think I just may go!
so much fun! rowan looks seriously adorable in that little coat!
I love your outfit! And Rowan’s coat is too adorable.
She’s so cute! We also just went to a pumpkin patch!
These photos are so fantastic Jen!! You are so beautiful, I love the picture with you in the background sitting on hay and Rowan standing in front 🙂 and that striped blazer/cardigan is amazing! All those carved pumpkins were really neat how they were in a dark tunnel! And I’d give anything for some cider and donuts… here in Pittsburgh I haven’t found a pumpkin patch 🙁 but this one looks amazing! But yay for another weekend filled with more fall activities! Apple picking? Does Rowan like applesauce? Do you make your own?
And one more thing, my heart melted when Kev was pulling the wagon and his little girl is holding on beside him! Ahhh your family is precious!
This pumpkin patch looks 1,000 times better than the ones in L.A. They are just tiny patches of land with some pumpkins on hay. Oh, and if you’re lucky, there’s a petting zoo with a goat and chicken. Yeehaw-hahahaha.
Love Rowan’s jacket–it’s adorable! And that pumpkin patch looks awesome—I need a child so have an excuse to do all this fun kid stuff 🙂
Rowan looks so cute with her outfit, love it. Also love your coat beautiful 😀
Super cute pictures! You have an Adorable daughter!!!
how fun does that look! I love the one of her trying to pick up the large pumpkin and of her and your husband pulling the wagon. Such a precious family 🙂
Rowan just gets more and more adorable. Trying to pick up all the pumpkins was too cute! :o)
Ahhh Rowan is too much! I can hardly handle the super adorableness!
Also loving your plaid + stripes + desert boots! 🙂
She’s so adorable running with her little pumpkin 🙂
Aww so cute! The pictures are lovely, how cool is Miss Piggy?

She is so cute, I love your black and white jackets! The carved pumpkin tunnel looks really fun, I’m hoping to make it to a patch this weekend or next myself!
It’s like Rowan’s cuteness has no limit! She just keeps getting more and more darling!
This looks like fun even though it was not your perfect plan. You guys make that field look sooo cool!
Can’t wait to have a little too 🙂
These photos came out great. Looks like your family had a great time. Little Rowan is a mini fashionista already, look at her outfit! Its adorable. I love your stripe cardigan, plaid shirt with jeans such a casual and chic ensemble – perfect outfit for a day at the farm! Thanks for sharing.
