We are taking a little trip backwards here. I have a few more posts from our trip to Paris to share. When I got this sequined eagle print dress, I knew I had to bring it to Paris. We got dressed up one night and headed over to the Eiffel Tower for a late night picnic. We didn’t do anything fancy but it was so fun to get dressed up and celebrate.

One of my favorite things we did in Paris was rent bikes at Versailles. We didn’t go in Versailles (I’ve been there 2 times before and it’s just not Kev’s thing). I knew the Gardens there were just beautiful, so we took the train out for the day. We rented bikes and off we went. There is so much to explore. You feel like you are in the Secret Garden. There are little paths and roads at every turn. I would highly recommend riding bikes around to anyone. So fun!
and everyone needs to eat Macarons in Paris…
love the 1st outfit but i am actually really really digging your bike-riding outfit. is that a leather jacket? where is it from?
Gorgeous! You’ve just made me yearn for bike riding in Versailles!
Wow Jen, the print of that dress is stunning! I love the blue colour on you. I also love the accessories you paired it with, those heels are such a great neutral shade. I’m glad you like Versailles. I was there when I was 9 and the gardens were my favourite part, I can’t wait to go back with an appreciation for French history. It looks like you and Kev had a wonderful anniversary trip, hopefully there’ll be many many more!

That hotel looks divine! I’d love to know where it is – my husband just surprised me with a trip to Paris in August for my birthday – and I’m researching hotels at the moment!

You look fabulous! What a pretty dress and a pretty background!
Such a great dress! I’ve been to Versailles once, during a very rainy weekend. Didn’t get to see very much of the gardens, a bike ride is an interesting option if I ever return. My mom saw Versailles when it had snowed, she says it was magical.
Also, interesting macaron, I’ve never seen one with pieces of fruit, where did you get that one?
A www, seeing this pictures makes me wish I was back in Paris (& eating macaroons).

I love the Versailles garden, I was very blessed to visit with my Mom when I was twelve and for years after that I dreamt of living in Le Petit Trianon! I was lucky to live in Paris in my early twenties and am bitting my thumb that I never thought of renting bikes to explore the Versailles garden!
I love how you could just take your picture on the balcony and yet the scenery in completely breath taking! Paris je t’aime!

There are so many amazing things that I love in this post: Paris, your dress, biking & macaroons. Seriously, this post practically defines me. My fondest memories of Europe involve a bike & I just recently mastered (kind of) the macaroon (check it out here).

Hello,
Absolutely LOVE your photos of you and Kev bike riding Versailles. I was thinking of doing that in May and was wondering if you recommend booking through a tour or just renting bikes there? and…. what is the weather & terrain like? I want to look as fabulous as you on your biking tour , while being practical.
xo
Thanks!
