This is the last round of the styleathon. I can not express my gratitude for being asked to be a part of this. I have learned so much, and have enjoyed being completely surrounded by such lovely, and inspiring women. What a blessing. I have grown more in love with baby wearing and will continue to wear Rowan as long as I can.
We were asked to create a video for the 3rd round. I wanted to make something that was straight from the heart. Trying to share a gimplise of how I’ve felt about these past 10 months as a Mom. I could go on and on about this round, but I will let the video speak for itself…

Oh my gosh, so so sweet. What a wonderful little keepsake this will be for so many years to come! I can’t wait to make things like this when I have my own baby. I may or may not have just cried a little while watching. By the way, you have such a pretty and calming voice.

I’m 31 weeks pregnant with my first and that video made me cry like a baby. I’ll admit it doesn’t take much to do that at the moment though.

i purposefully waited until late to watch this video because i knew that i would cry my eyes out. and i did. my baby will be 7 next month and i have no idea where the time went. when you said that you loved to wear rowan in the sling so that her heart was by your heart, i just thought that was the most special thing in the world. even though my son is so old and getting very hard for me to carry, i do occasionally (when he’ll let me 🙂 pick him up and hold him. there’s nothing quite like holding up your child to carry him (or her) and feel close. it gets even more special as they get older. when they need you less and less but you can still feel that pull, that little bit of baby inside of them that wants to be wrapped up in your arms and loved. you will be so thankful for this video in the coming years. these are some sweet moments 🙂
And…now I cannot stop crying. Wow. You captured all of it, motherhood, perfectly. This video was my favorite — you just got IT so well.

The relationship between a mother and daughter is so special, and your words to Rowan really made appreciate how close I am with my mom. Because I don’t have children of my own yet, it made me realize how she must have felt as I grew older… and how she must feel now. It’s something I never really thought about until today.

I found you from looking at Sakura Bloom! I have to say I remember watching this back in July and shedding a few tears, and actually found it again (and shed a few more tears!). It’s so sweet to hear your voice through it all. My baby boy Ferris was not even two months old when I watched this the first time and I remember thinking ten months old seemed so far off…. well, you know how that goes. Wishing you all the best.
