Friday Share and Tell…

dinnerview
One of my favorite things we did in Paris was have picnics at sunset. We would go to the store, grab some finger foods (cheese, bread, fruit, nuts, cookies, avocados & wine) and then head to a cool place to sit and relax. One night it was in front of the Eiffel Tower, another night it was near Pont Neuf (pictured above) along the seine. Since we have come home, we have had 2 such picnics for dinner. I think we took home the Parisian spirit and will be carrying it thru all summer long.

There were too many favorites this week around the internet, so instead of 10 links today I’ve got 15. Enjoy!!!

1. How cute is this Paris Ring? I majorly want it.

2. Head over heels for this satchel. Love the woven fabric!

3. J.Crew put out the cutest video of their fall lookbook. Swooning already!

4. I love the ease of dressing for summer. Same goes for babies. How cute is this San Fran Onesie?

5. How Pretty is this DIY marbled paper? I want to make some for sure!

6. I NEED to make this Fig & Beet Tart this weekend. It looks delicious!

7. Love the sort of retro feel to this pretty floral skirt.

HAPPY WEEKEND EVERYONE!!!

  1. omgoshhh your picnic looks divine!!

  2. I love these posts, Jen. I think you need that Paris ring! And I’m so jealous of your picnics!

  3. So jealous… I love to travel but have never made it over any ocean. Thanks for allowing me to imagine through your details!

  4. My husband (then fiance) and I did the same on our trip through Europe, and it was both cost-effective and perfectly memorable for us. On the night he proposed we ate dinner on the Champ de Mars with a bottle of champagne, baguettes, cheese and dark chocolates, taking in the view of the Tower and basking in pre-marital bliss. Le sigh!! Since then one of our favorite things to do on the weekend is packing a picnic lunch of baguettes, cheese, prosciutto and fruits and heading to a park or the beach. It’s the simple moments like those that seem to linger the longest. Thanks for bringing up those great memories for me…
That photo of the sky is truly incredible!

  5. how lovely does a picnic in paris sound?? i have to confess, i am a little jealous… 🙂

  6. Oh. My. Goodness! Do want! My husband and I are going to Europe this October (it will be the first time out of the U.S. for both of us… other then a quick trip to Mexico). I would LOVE to see you do a post on the top things to do while in Paris, but that would probably take FOREVER haha, cause I am sure it would be impossible to nail down just a few things out of all of the GREAT ones. Still, posts like this one are AWESOME. We are totally going to picnic out by Pont Neuf, if we can find it without getting lost 🙂

  7. I WANT YOUR PICNIC!
    it looks amazing!
so glad you both had a wonderful trip, and are bringing paris home with you!
