(I am no good at packing, but here are some outfits that got stowed away in my suitcase. Yes, that is a sequined eagle dress. Hello, anniversary dinner! I really can’t wait to wear that lovely floral dress from ModCloth)

We made it! It was sad to say goodbye to our sweet little angel, but I know Rowan will love spending some good bonding time with her Grammy + Grandpa. She doesn’t get to see them very often. Our flight was fast and uneventful, even though I freak out over flying. I never use to be like that but for some reason the last 2 years I’ve gotten so bad.

We are super jet legged, but we are going to bed early with our alarm set for 12:30am. We found a pub in the Latin Quarter called “The Great Canadian Pub” that is broadcasting the Stanley Cup game. It’s a big game in Boston and we wouldn’t. I am excited at the adventure of it. Getting up in the middle of the night, in Paris, to go watch the hockey game and drink some beers. haha. I am looking forward to it!

Tomorrow starts some Color themed outfit posts. Let’s just say Kev now knows what color blocking is and won’t stop using it in sentences.

Have a great week everyone!

Here is a picture from our hotel balcony that I posted on twitter today. We have the nicest room over by the Luxembourg Gardens. Gosh, I love it here!

  1. I don’t know if I would watch that important game at “The Great Canadian Pub” – which I’ve totally walked by when I was there, ha! – because EVERYBODY will be cheering for the Canucks (and I take that you won’t be :P). Hope you’re having a great time!

Just saying Canucks are gonna win!! haha that’s coming from a Vancouver girl! Your outfits look lovely, I defs had to have a double look at the eagle dress but it is fantastic! Enjoy Paris!

  6. Can’t wait to see the match neither, although I’ll be watching in a less exotic setting. I am a Canadiens fan of course since I’m from Montreal but we lost a while ago… So right now to me it seems like a win win situation ๐Ÿ™‚

Man, I miss Europe when I see that picture of your view.. Hope you guys have a wonderful time, Paris is so gorgeous.

  21. That view is gorgeous! Wow! That sequined eagle dress definitely caught my eye because it’s so cool! I hope to see more pictures of it soon!

  22. Brianne •

What a dreamy trip!! I’m so excited to see the pictures… that view is AMAZING!

  23. Oh my gosh have a GREAT time and please take a lot of pictures! The last time I was in Paris was when I was 11 but I’d love to go back now that I’m in my 20’s/

  24. Paris sounds amazing! I’m like you, in the past couple years my fear of flying has steadily grown…not good for a travel addict like myself

  25. Ooh, what hotel are you staying in? I’m hopping over to Paris for 2 days in August and still need to book a hotel.

  26. Cynthia •

I can’t believe you left Rowan again. Obviously you guys weren’t ready for kids. I talked to my fellow blog friends about it and they all agreed. Its really sad. You are doing a great job on raising Rowan to be a rebellious teen. You always claim you leaving makes you a better parent, but it doesn’t. It just makes it easier for you to leave the next time. Whatever you need to tell yourself to sleep at night, huh?
Your blog was once really cool because I thought you had a heart but I’m outta here and so are my friends.

  27. Enjoy the trip! You are staying literally right where we stayed….tell me not the Petit Paris hotel? I loved staying in that neighborhood, walking through the garden everyday. Can’t wait to hear more about the trip & happy anniversary!
