When we got home from Flordia last week, we got to spend the weekend hanging out with Julie, Chris, Adam and Punky. We went to Brimfield and then there was another swap on Saturday (pictures to come). I scored some awesome things at the swap. I kept grabbing things, then Julie would walk by and say “that was mine.” haha I think everything I took was Julie’s. I guess we have the same taste or maybe I have tastes that are 2 years behind Julie, haha because she was getting rid of all of it. Either way it was sweet stuff. One of those items was this J.Crew skirt. I am so glad I grabbed it. I Love it!
I am not a fan of (old navy) flip flops. For me they are maybe for the beach and that is it. Sorry guys. I just can’t wear them, but why settle for flip flops when there are way more comfortable & cute sandals out there. My favorite sandals for this summer by far are from Blowfish. They are so freakin’ comfortable- and cute to boot! Don’t you love these Casita’s? Perfect for this outfit.
Silk Blythe Blouse: J.Crew
Belt: Thrifted
Skirt: J.Crew (scored at Swap. Thank you Julie!)
Bracelets: Various places
Hat: H&M
Casita Sandals: c/o Blowfish

That skirt was a great score. I am so loving your hair right now, it’s making me want to cut my bangs again, I had them for so long but just can’t deal with them in the summertime! How do you get your hair so cute and wavy like that??
so glad good fashion is not going to waste 🙂
love the skirt!

I’m going to have to go out on a limb and take the other side in the flip flop debate but that doesn’t mean I don’t love your sandals!!

I’ve been eyeing these same shoes… they are amazing! Are they comfortable to walk in?
Love the shoes, and that SKIRT. Fabulous.
Cute skirt, and so fun that you got it at a swap (I’ve always wanted to attend one)! I adore your hat too, so cute!
What a perfect set, it matches the whole outfit magically, great swap!

love this look, you have such gorgeous skin – the hat rocks too!
Swaps sound like so much fun! Love the shoes. 🙂
Aaah, I’ve been eyeing those sandals for awhile now. So cute. And I can’t wait for the day when I’m actually around to attend a swap. I would love to walk home with some of Julie’s clothes (or yours!).
Hey Jen!
What a great post, I LOVE your style & shoes! I just came across your blog and I fell in love with it! It’s spectacular, so I am following you : ) I am inspired by your blog and am trying to start one myself, please check it out and follow if you like it! http://kaylapitcher.blogspot.com … See you soon, kisses!
Tiny hat!!!
I’ve also been eyeing these shoes for awhile. I am obsessed with blowfish shoes right now!! I own three pairs, the latest being the Hobson (which is adorable!! I bought them at DSW and they only had the Bark but now that I see the red on the blowfish site I am so jealous of them).
I’m so glad to see your closeups because some reviews said the finish was more patent-y. It looks like that’s not the case at all. I’m definitely buying these once summer really gets going (if I don’t win them of course 😛 )
and I am not a fan of flip flops. at all.
Hey Jen, I have some desperate begging of favors here: I just posted about a conundrum I have with three beautiful anthro skirts. Can you help me choose between them, pleeeease?

That skirt is fabulous! Surprisingly I can see that going well with a lot of different outfits. Can I have your bangles please? =)
