Easter Style File 04.25.11

I love Easter! I love the idea of getting dressed up in pretty colors and florals. I had to get up way early yesterday morning to head over to our Church to set up. It came out so beautiful. Erin and I made so many white paper flowers and it really all came together in the end. Here is a http://www.flickr.com/photos/jenloveskev/5653565591/.

Remember when the Rodarte Dresses hit Target? I think every blogger out there had one of the dresses. I was no exception. I have really only worn this dress once before but it really is a pretty dress. I thought it was perfect for Easter this year.

This is off topic but I took http://www.flickr.com/photos/jenloveskev/4859593355/ out last week and all I can see in any picture I take now is that they aren’t there anymore. I have had them for almost 11 years. It’s sad but I think it was time. haha. Does this mean I am growing up? Just kidding. I already told Kev I was going to get my nose pierced and the tattoo I have always talked about.

  3. oh the decorations are gorgeous jen! and perfect easter outfit. although i still have no idea how you all walk in those heels, amazing!

  4. I love that dress! So pretty. The church decorations were absolutely amazing! {I saw them via Instagram}.

  5. Such a lovely outfit! I’m so jealous of those Jeffrey Campbell heels! I want a pair so badly.

  6. Those heels are so fantastic. It’s funny, I remember them seeming so ‘extreme’ when they first came out, but now compared to other JC shoes, these ones are fairly tame – classic, gorgeous, and perfect for spring time! Loving the floral dress, too! So pretty.

  7. I love your paper flowers on the cross!!! They turned out beautifully!!! And your family looks oh so sweet!

  12. that dress is really beautiful. I’d buy it in a heartbeat. I love the tie/bow detail at the neck. Love those shoes too!

  13. Love your make up, you look gorgeous!!

  14. Beautiful flowers Jen (both on the cross and on your dress!)
Big step getting those plugs out, you had those for years didn’t you? Will the holes shrink much? (I’ve got “normal” pierced ears and even when I didn’t wear any earrings for years they still remained “open”)

  15. perfect little outfit 🙂 also… what kind of tattoo do you want?

  16. You look absolutely gorgeous Jen! This is definitely the perfect Easter outfit!

  17. I really, really love this.
I’d never think to wear a blazer with a pretty dress like this but I love it. Definitely going into my inspiration folder :]]

I’m new to your blog and I like it! 🙂

If you really want to get your nose pierced, go for it! I’ve wanted to for years, and finally did on Saturday as a 24th birthday present to myself 🙂 I didn’t hurt at all, it just felt like a brief pinch. hurt a lot less than piercing my ears!

Also, if you do the left nostril, Ayurvedic medicine says it makes childbirth easier!

  19. I still can’t give up my plugs.
And they are endlessly fascinating to high school kids, let me tell ya.

  20. I saw this dress in black at a thrift store once… in a size 0! I am not a size 0 but it still took so much willpower to leave it behind. I couldn’t stop thinking that maybe someday it would fit. Haha! Such a pretty dress, though. I especially love this patterned one.

  21. I know it has already been said, but you Easter decorations were beautiful! I would love to see a tutorial on how to make them!
