Don’t you love outfits when you realize that they have cost you almost nothing? I love when that happens. It makes me so proud of myself. Everything in this outfit is either swapped or thrifted. These are the pictures I shared on the Delightful Dozen blog yesterday. This dress has been making its way around the girls. I was super excited when it arrived on my doorstop. It is adorably cute. I couldn’t help dress it up a little school girl like. When Kev was taking my pictures, I told him we should play hopscotch after. We didn’t but if I had, had a peice of chalk you can bet there would be a massive hopscotch outside our building.

Head over to the Delightful Dozen Blog and check out my post and see how the other girls have styled this dress!!
I love this outfit so I don’t mind seeing it twice! Although, I’m jealous it’s warm enough for you to wear bare legs. Here in the city it’s still FREEZING. Spring needs to hurry the eff up.
I have to admit, I love plaid! Since having a baby and still not losing all the weight (plus more), I am nervous about wearing it. I think I just need to take a risk and wear a little bit of plaid (like a skirt) and see how it goes. You, of course, look adorable as usual!
And yes, are you actually warm enough with bare legs!? It is FREEZING cold where I am and I would give anything not to wear thick tights when I wear a dress or skirt!
I love love love how you styled this! You look adorable.
I love this dress! You look awesome! Just think, when Rowan’s older you’ll get to teach her hopscotch!
I love this dress and how you styled it. especially the shoes…. love them
I cant wait for warmer weather so I can put away my tights
I adore this look! I must be honest and say that normally I am not much of the fan of a ‘school girl’ look, but either it my recent viewing of An Education, or how fantastic that red dress looks on you but this outfit comes together to be complete perfection on you! I love the whole look!
jen, you look amazing! I was admiring those oxfords at brunch last week, isn’t the best stuff always thrifted? what a find! xoxo
I agree with Julie! Those oxfords are great! They really pull together that whole school girl look. There’s nothing like a little throwback game of hopscotch to get the blood moving on those chilly days!
Now that is CUTE!!! Love the schoolgirl vibe and the hair to match. I remember when Dooney & Burke was THE purse to have. I think I was in 5th grade and likely wearing an outfit very similar to yours!
I love that you added the brooches; cute lil bit of detail!

I love that vintage D&B, that’s one I haven’t seen before!
I love how you styled the dress! The sweater really tones down the plaid and I love your little pins!
Wow- that really is almost the same sentance! Ha! Love this outfit. It’s very Alexa Chung (sweater over a pretty dress).
I can’t believe you’re baring your legs. It’s still too cold here to do that.
I love this!! This dress has been one of my favorite DD swaps. That bag is just perfect with it. ^_^
OOOOOOOOOOOOh, what a great bag and skirt. I am plaid envious,

Fantastic outfit Jen! Especially loving the little details with the broaches, bag, and messy updo!
Oh, those brooches are divine! And the outfit is so adorable. Your tummy looks so very flat! (this is very encouraging! it is nice to know that my now-pregnant-belly will be back to normal soon after the little baby is born:)
Have a sweet day!

I think I will make a hopscotch drawing today on my sidewalk:) It’s add some fun to my neighborhood. It’s perhaps the best styling thus far!
Aren’t you the sassy one with that flirty bottom, I love the silhouette! Did I mention we have the same striped Ann Taylor Loft jacket, I heart it so. Great minds think alike!
