Everyone and there Mother has this buffalo check shirt from J.Crew. I am sure you have all seen it a hundred times around the blog world. How can you blame anyone though? I have loved it since the first time I saw it the catalog. I wore it a ton thru the 30 for 30 remix challenge and told myself I would take a break from wearing it for a bit, but then some twitter friends suggested there should be a day where everyone wears there shirt. Kendi decided we should call this little one day group project “The Gingham Gang”. So, here I am wearing this shirt again for the 100th time and I still love it as much as thehttp://www.flickr.com/photos/jenloveskev/5197023300/
*and as the old lady at the store asked me today. Yes, you can see right thru my ear. hehe

everyone does have that shirt! Haha…I love it so much and I must have tried on 30 different variations from different retailers but I can never find one that fits – that the curse of a busty petite – no button ups, ever!
Your cape + collar looks so cozy!
I’ve actually only seen this top on you!! ^,~
love this outfit, that cape with the fur collar is just fantastic!
I almost bought those flats and now I am definitely regretting it! You look great. Love seeing you in pants!
dying over this. just dying over it!!!!!
You’re right, everyone does have it. But it’s fun to see it styled differently by so many people. It’s like seeing another remix happening all at once!
What a darling little outfit. I’m loving the cape trend this season. You look so ladylike with your fab fur collar. I really like your makeup too. The pink lipstick compliments your skin tone nicely.
and everytime you wear it it looks so new and fantastic. you’re amazing.
Those studded flats are awesome. They remind me of the Valentinos.
This is so fabulous. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a gingham shirt worn with a cape with a fur collar! Love it.
Kristine. Or Polly.
love it paired with the khaki colored pieces, jen! and that brooch added on looks lovely! (:
You look so pretty in that lipstick! Your hair looks great as well.
Haha gotta love old ladies!
This outfit is adorable! And I totally don’t blame you for wearing the shirt a million times 🙂 I would too!
That shirt is too awesome to take a break from. I am dying over your vintage collar and cape!

Ooo! Lovely! I love the mix of the more casual shirt with the cape and fur collar! Gorgeous gorgeous!
I’m a sucker for a checked shirt. I have a red gingham one from j.crew that I am obsessed with. Plus, their button ups fit sooo good!
I love your pink lip today too! So cheerful! 🙂
You look so lovely, and that coat is really nice!
xx
Out. of. the. park.
SUCH a good outfit!
Love the shirt with the fur coat–such a lovely mix. And, might I just say that you’re disappearing from our eyes? You look so tiny! Congrats, mama…you look so gorgeous.
Okay everyone has done preppy, girly and chic but no one has done a vintage spin on this shirt. I love it, the cape is just so classy!! I think this is my favorite one officially done! 😉
I love the fur collar! I also have a vintage fur collar, but I find that I rarely wear it because it never sits right on my coats. It’s a fun idea to put it on a cape!
I love the way you styled this top with your coat! I love finding shirts that you can re-style again and again 🙂
Karen
i LOVE your coat!
I would never have guessed that your ears are gauged! Respect!
I adore your cape!
Love love love the fur collar on this cape !!!!! You look so lovely!
the cape and collar! so pretty.
Of the Gingham challenge outfits I’ve seen today, I think I like yours the best. That cape and collar are just gorgeous! The brooch detail is fantastic too.
[…] is kind of the hipper cousin. Love it seen with all the ladies mentioned on whatwouldanerdwear and jenloveskev. Also love still envisioning it with high waisted pants like I mentioned […]
This is adorable and the cape is delicious. It reminds me of Orchid Grey! That girl loves her some capes, tell you what.
And I seriously need one of these lovely gingham shirts. Stat.
That cape is so gorgeous, it HURTS! What a find!

I think that the brooch makes the outfit this time. It’s the little things. 🙂
I LOVE THIS OUTFIT! Too cute Jen.
You have the most perfect style!!! And thanks for shopping at Target rather than Bergdorf Goodman. I don’t think I could bear to fall in love with another $300 cardigan!
I was so happy to do this Gingham gang with you the first time around and to see it all over again today on the website. No one can rock a cape like you (and Julie, of course), so thanks for showing the rest of us how it’s done!
The Auspicious Life
I used to have a shirt like that, but I think it was by THE GAP(same thing, I guess) Don’t know what happened to it. I love that you paired it with the cape and the flats are so cute.
