I was a little bit perplexed when I got this tunic (well shirt for me, it doesn’t even cover my bum) from our Delightful Dozen swaps. I had no idea what I should do with it. It’s super cute with a little peter pan color but I really didn’t know how to wear it. I have had this petticoat from modcloth for about a month now and also wasn’t sure how to wear it. I knew I wanted to wear it as a skirt more than under things, that is why I got it. When I paired the 2 together I loved how they went together. Don’t you love when that happens? I sure do. I felt so ladylike wearing this around.
Vintage Navy Tunic: Delightful Dozen (via Time Enough for Drums)
Polka dot belt: Thrifted
Low Whispers Petticoat: c/o Modcloth
Navy Tights: Forever 21
Heels: Calvin Klein (thrifted from Clothes Mentor)
that combination makes your waist look tiny! I love it! also love the way the navy tights look with those heels. A+ 🙂
I agree with the commenter before me–your waist looks super small!
i love this outfit!
This is gorgeous. This silhouette is amazing on you!
xx, Katrina
You look great, that belt is adorable!
Love, love, love this look! Very very flattering, and love all the details, especially the belt.
this is soooooo cute! i love how you wore the tunic. such a great look!
You definitely pinpointed the exact reason I sent this out to the DD! The tunic is a hard piece to wear, but I love what you did with it. I’m going to have to try it soon.
One of my favorite looks! Love love love the tunic. 🙂 The buttons are lovely.
wow! i LOVE this outfit. and it is super duper flattering on you!!
Love it! What a great combo. I really love that skirt!
Beautiful! I love the entire thing, and its so flattering. Winter clothes are the best, but really, this is an all year round kinda outfit, isn’t it!
I really love these proportions on you! So flattering! And very ladylike. 🙂
I LOVE this on you, you look so great! I think the proportions are really flattering, the longer skirt makes you seem even taller (whereas on me it would just make me appear shorter)!
i love this outfit! you look beautiful! and so prim!
Such a unique pairing, love it! And wow to all that snow, I hope it wasn’t too cold out!
Really flattering. Love the crisp blue and white together!
i’ve been a reader for awhile now and i think this outfit is my favorite. i love the textures of all three so much and the collar and buttons on the shirt really give it something special.
You look super skinny in this outfit!!! Congrats on getting your “before Rowan” figure back:)

I stinkin’ love this outfit!
You look great! 🙂
look at your tiny little waist! so cute and i love the color combo.
Oh, I love this color and style of the top/tunic, and the dotty belt adds just the right touch of interest!
That petticoat is lovely and I am thinking I shall have head over to Modcloth to see if I can find one for myself. I am having an absolute obsession with petticoats at the moment!
xox,
bonita of Depict This!
You’re looking beautiful mama! Love the colour combo.
Happy New Year Jen!! I love this outfit, it’s one of my favorite color combos. The neckline and buttons on the top are super cute, and I like how you made the white skirt work so well. I love white but I have a harder time wearing a white skirt/dress during the winter…I feel like it just looks wrong on me. But I’m going to have to try it because you look fabulous! Also, this outfit is SO flattering. You look so tall and so slim!!
Love this outfit, and I agree with other comments that it is super flattering! I also love the gray coat you’re wearing in one of the pics. Do you mind sharing where you found it?
this might be my favorite outfit ever! super cute 🙂
