Style File 12.15.10

I am going to style this chambray shirt today and tomorrow in 2 different ways. Today I wore it with my Wool Bell Skirt from J.Crew. It was freakin’ freezing out so there was no way I was taking off my hat for the pictures. You can just get use to a winter hat on my head from now on. At least one part of me could stay warm. My fingers and toes are always numb by the time I am done. Ugh! Brrrrr.
Can you believe that Christmas is only 10 days away. Crazy! I will admit that I haven’t done any Christmas shopping yet. Ahh I am so bad. I have plans to go with some girlfriends on Saturday. I can just imagine how busy it will be the Saturday before christmas. I don’t know why I do this to myself every year. Oh well. I will say it’s all part of the fun, right? or so I am telling myself.
I just addressed 100 Christmas cards. Yikes. Good thing my mom got me some cute return address labels for Christmas. I had to ask for them early because there was no way I was writing our address 100 times.
Our card came out super cute. I will share it with you guys closer to Christmas time, when I know our friends and family have gotten it already.

  1. Cute! I love the beanie, I wish it were cold enough where I live to wear cute scarves/gloves/beanies. Alas it’s perpetually summertime 🙂

Good luck with your christmas shopping. I always find the energy of the crowd really fun when doing late shopping.

  2. Cute outfit; that denim shirt looks oh-so-sophisticated.
    Happy Holidays girly-whirly!

    p.s. Rowan is sooooooo cute!

  3. Loving the wall climbing and I’m sick with jealousy over your thrifted belt! I’d never find anything like that in a New Zealand op’ shop…sick I tells ya!

  4. Hehe, i love the last photo! You are so adorable Jen! 🙂

  5. I would never think of dressing up a chambray shirt like this, but it looks great! That last picture is hilarious!!

  6. Looking very cute in all your posts – you look so thin! Good for you for getting running again. I got my go ahead from the dr and still just sit around all day.

  7. Holy moly, Jen, you are so adorable! Thank you for braving the cold for us 🙂 Your head looks so cute in that beanie (haha) and the pigtails! Love. it. Wonderful colors here as well!!! Inspiration!

  8. Haha I love the last picture! And the outfit is great!
