ok, so I have decided I would like to get thru this 30 for 30 thing a lot faster than I have been. I have a bunch of delightful dozen items piling up and I would really like to wear them and get them sent out to the next girl. So, each day this week I will be taking an item from the 30 pieces and styling it 2 different ways. I must be crazy because I can hardly get 1 outfit post up and now I am planning on 2. I am off to a good start because I got both pictures taken this morning already.
Today we are working with my mustard pencil skirt from J.Crew. I think this might be one of the most versatile pieces in my wardrobe. I feel like everything goes with it. For this first outfit I styled it with my pink lace top. I add a metallic belt and since its snowing out, I added a vintage cape. No, the cape is not part of my 30 items, but it’s cold and it was keeping me warm while I was taking pictures. Its just a coat and the outfit can stand on it’s own with out it.

Gorgeous ensemble!! The color combo is positively inspired and I love how much fun the hat brings 🙂
Oh, you look SO CUTE in that cape, Jen!! I’m glad it ended up in your arms! 🙂
I’m really loving the color of that skirt, too!
That pencil skirt really is a fantastic piece. So versatile and lovely.
I’m itching for a cape (like the one you have, actually) but I’m not sure if I can pull it off. You make it look so effortless!
Love this outfit! The mustard pencil skirt was definitely a good purchase. Can’t wait to see the rest of your 30 30
adorable – i really love this skirt on you.
You are getting a double kudos from me! When The Pup was 3 months old, I was wearing 2 outfits a day…because he spit up on both of them! You’re such a stylish mamasita to rock out two ensembles!
I love the different colours and patterns in this outfit! Your pink lace, grey pattern tights…. it all works so well together! You look gorgeous Jen.

I ADORE that skirt. I’ve been eyeing it on JCrew’s site for a while, you may have pushed me over the edge on biting the bullet and buying it!
I’m so in love with that skirt! And I love the color and texture of those tights – it’s is such a great combo!! Brava – I love this one!! 🙂
that vintage cape is beautiful. What a fun find. This outfit is very pretty. I agree you should speed it up if you have to take pictures outside. It’s TOO cold! I don’t like it.
