We are half way there!! 15 out of 30. yay! Also, yay!! because it’s the weekend and we are getting our Christmas tree. I bought Rowan the cutest little hat and mittens yesterday so we can all go out and cut one down. Anyone have fancy plans for the weekend?
So, this outfit marks my return of sorts to the Delightful Dozen. I took a back seat for a bit because well, being pregnant didn’t really lend itself well to sharing clothes. DD items are starting to arrive in the mail and I can’t wait to style them up. I love the girls in the DD. It’s so fun to see how everyone styles things.
I took a little shopping trip to T.J. Maxx the other day. I always shop there because, it’s like a thrift store, but with new items. You never know what you are going to find and sometimes you hit the jackpot. I definitely felt like I hit the jackpot the other day. I found this Cynthia Rowley wool hat and a pair of Tall black Dolce Vita boots. I love both of them and both were items on my “must get” list. Do you like TJ Maxx? I am also big huge sucker for Homegoods. That store I am like a kid in the candy store. Seriously, when we first bought our house, I was there like 2 times a day. Love that place!

I have shoe envy!
I’m a new visitor and I must say I love your blog and really like your style. I agree with the comment above those shoes are wonderful! Plus the hat and over knee socks are lovely!
ps. I’m happy I came to visit and will continue to peek in.
You look so great love that hat and blouse 😀
Love that top! What a cute combination.
My new favorite thing about TJ Maxx is that my husband now understands the wonders of TJ Maxx and now really likes going. Date night!
Love this look! I’m glad you’re back to regular style files. I can always get inspiration from your posts.
And yes I LOVE TJMaxx. They have good prices for new things!
aw, you’ve done it again. i cannot get enough of your outfits lately. this is too perfect and really making me wish i had snagged some cool stuff from the alexa chung for madewell collection. sighs.
Woah, how did you manage to get those tights to stay up? Please tell me this is possible for more than 30 seconds and will actually work in my real life.
I love that shirt so much! And you always look so good in such a wide variety of hats!
Ah, I just love those socks and hat with everything else; they really make the whole outfit so unique.
Oh your shoes make me squeal they are soo pretty. You look so pretty in your photos, love the outfit 🙂
I absolutely LOVE those shoes! This outfit looks whimsical and pulled together at the same time!
You always look amazing! I also love T.J. Maxx! You find so many things there. I was going to get some boots there Thursday but they were too small. 🙁
so cute… how do you get your thigh high socks to stay up like that? are mine just too small or too big?? they are always falling down that im about to give up on them. anyways…. you look cute.
That little yellow bow is perfection!! And I’m a bit of a Marshall’s junkie. I try to buy everything used that I can for sustainability reasons, but I buy all of my underthings there. I can get all the Nordstrom quality stuff for less than $20. It makes me feel like I’m making off like a bandit 🙂 It’s also great because I have a weird bra size that only expensive brands make (haha, that sounds so pretentious) so it’d be impossible to find affordable bras otherwise.
Very cute look! I especially love the polka dots and the hat!
I looovveee TJ Maxx too, sometimes you find the best things ever! I’m glad to hear you found things you like 🙂
Oh I love that blouse on you!
where did you get your shoes? i can’t seem to find them anywhere online! I NEED them! they’re so darn cute!
I second Heather’s comment. I love those shoes but cannot find them. I need them!
