So this week my I’d Wear That post is going to be a little different. I didn’t put together one outfit I would like to wear, more just a collection of pieces from my lovely sponsors that I wish I could wear. Having no waist this summer is really a bummer when there is such cute and adorable dresses, shorts, shirts and rompers that I wish I could be wearing. I just live vicariously thru all of you and all the fashion blogs I subscribe to. As I was looking thru Ruche and Modcloth though, I was finding myself thinking that would work for fall still. The end is near my friends! I can see the light!!! I can’t wait for post baby style files… My closet is getting dusty.

What are your favorite waist wearing items this summer?
i LOVE that ‘country time afternoon dress’ – it is so beautiful! that would be a definite in my closet, since i’m only 5 months i have just been keeping on with dresses, skirts and the like!
oo my favorites are #s 1 & 6 of your modcloth picks, and #3 of your ruche picks. ๐ One of my favorite items I’ve bought for this summer is my Kimchi Blue sunset stripe skirt I got at urban outfitters.
number 4 in the top picture is stunning! I wish we could get some of these awesome clothes here in Australia. You guys always have such great stuff.
Haha, too cute. Don’t worry, you will have a waist again soon! :o)
I my goodness, I remember feeling the same way at the end of my pregnancy! The day will come again… I’m in love with the Ruche ‘Hawaiian Paradise’ top, in factรขโฌโI just clicked the link and they’re out! Bummer. Maybe the ‘Mrs Fox’ top will be in stock.
the cricket match skirt (2) is way. too. short. I ordered this as a cheaper alternative to anthro’s aniseed skirt, and it is ridiculously inappropriate for anything other than modeling for a blog, lol. suffice to say I returned it. if it were a few inches longer, it’d be lovely, though.
I know how you feel. If only i had a waist. I keep saying the same thing. I just hope some of these things are in style next summer.
I love love love that skirt! I also love your blog ๐
I love the ruby top with the ruched waist. And I had a similar vein of thought when my hubby took me shopping on our babymoon this weekend. I kept going “oooh, gorgeous, now if I only still had my waist” But small sacrifice for the little thunder god I am expecting to be able to cuddle in 19 weeks ๐
i really like the whole selection of dresses from ruche, this might be dangerous for the bank balance;-)
I adore #3 from Modcloth & #5 from Ruche! I’m a huge fan of strapless this summer but I don’t actually own many strapless things. All the pieces you picked though are beautiful! Both of those shops have great stuff.
I have the Fantastic Mrs. Fox Ruby top and love it! Wore it the other day with some navy pleated pants and patent red sandals!
The cricket match skirt is sooo pretty!
If you’re ever looking for an “I’d Wear That” idea i would LOVE to see a few for rainy days. I live in newfoundland, and it rains A LOT and I always feel so unmotivated to get dressed.
๐ I love reading the I’d Wear That, so cute!
