Is it miserable, freezing and hailing/snowing where you are? It is where I am and its very depressing. Where did our nice warm spring weather go? Its going to be almost 90 on Sunday so I guess I just have to hang in there.
I am going to shock you and post my second outfit post with jeans in one week! haha. I am telling you, when you are pregnant you kinda just end up wearing what works and feels comfortable and all my cute skirts that I got to wear while pregnant have been to cold to wear. My class room is about 50 degrees. They turn the heat off at school the beg. of April because they think we don’t need it any more but then we have days like today and I freeze all day long.
I have had this ebay gift card for a while that I won from Lucky Style Spotter and I have been buying things on and off using it up. I recently started looking around there for a lot of maternity clothes. One day I stumbled across this super cute maternity store– they have some really great stuff. One of which is this shirt. I love the wide stripes with the lace collar. Plus is has pockets! I have worn it like a millions times since I got it a few weeks ago. I wore this over the weekend but also re-wore it to school today. haha. Thats what weekends are for right?
Shirt: Loui Mom on Ebay
Necklaces: Forever 21
Bomber: Forever 21
I was looking thru flickr this morning and was realizing I have past (by like a month) when I started taking outfit pictures everyday. Here is what I wore this same day http://www.flickr.com/photos/jenloveskev/3480478393/
VERY cute top! There really is some great maternity clothes out there, although sometimes you just have to order regular clothes in larger sizes. Honestly that works too.
That’s crazy! Can you even believe how much your life has changed in a year?!
Confession: I often actually like maternity clothes. Don’t tell!
Love that top!! Looks great paired with the necklaces 🙂
Looks like we have the same weekend/work week sensibility. Wear it on Saturday, wear it again on Tuesday! 🙂 I love that top. Very cute.
You don’t by any chance have stretched ear piercings, do you? I thought I spied a little eyelet there.
Very fun shirt. I love the pockets. It’s fun to look back.
i love the collar on your shirt! such a fun take on a classic look.
that’s the cutest, most adorable striped shirt i’ve ever seen (especially that lace collar) – maternity or not! 😉
p.s. i love seeing what you wore today, just last idea. clever, clever idea.
It’s actually quite brilliant here in Canada! Nice weather, albeit slightly cool. Thank goodness that snow missed us! We’ll be warm and complaining about the heat soon enough. It’s that old saying here – “Don’t like the weather? Wait five minutes.” – it’s an exaggeration, but still.
I love the lace bib on that top, it’d look nice for casual Friday at work! I love the maternity jeans, you can’t even tell. Maybe I could get a pair for when I go for buffet lunches!
I had 2 pairs of maternity jeans that I ended up wearing ALL the time – weekends, work, etc. It was a lot easier to find tops that I liked and that fit than pants or skirts. But that’s what lots of cute accessories are for – to mix it up and trick people into not noticing you’ve worn the same pants 4 days out of 7. 🙂
I think this is a wonderful outfit! I love the big stripes and the sweet collar. Fingers crossed for warmer weather!
That lacy collar is the perfect touch!
I just have to tell you that I love your blog! I am an aspiring art teacher (I graduate in a year) and am already worried about the crossover from college to teaching. Your blog proves that people can teach art and look awesome!
soooo, don’t take this the wrong way, but it is SUCH a relief to look at your early style file pics and see that you have improved so much in posing. i always feel like such a tool (though, i am getting better), and it’s nice to see that everyone has to start somewhere. practice makes perfect i guess!
I love the contrast of lace and stripes.
Last year’s outfit is adorable too!
Ok, more drooling over your maternity clothes. I love that top, it’s lace collar is so awesome.
Jen you look always great and have an amazing style.:)
I love the fact that you are always smiling in the pics, looking so sweet.
I’m sure you will be a great mother and your little girl will be as fashionable as you are:)
Have a great weekend
I love this look — especially with the leather jacket! Such a cute top 🙂
I love this outfit! I’m not usually drawn to jeans but lately I’ve been loving them more and more. And that top, soo cute, I loveit!
