Weekend Style File 01.18.10

On Saurday night we had a big family dinner at my parents house with kev, me, my sister, her friend, my parents and kev’s parents. It was really nice to all be together. Since Kev and me meet at college there was a good chance that our families would have lived far apart, but we lucked out because they only live like 20 mins away from each other.

I have had this tweed blazer for a couple years now. I just love it! It is super warm and I love that it has elbow pads. Everyone was calling me professor on Sat. haha I guess it is very educational looking. Fitting though I guess.

  1. I like the outfit! I actually think I own a really similar blazer, but I have to get it taken it because it’s too big.

  2. Haha, that last picture is fun!

  3. Love the little button & lace detail on your top. It’s a nice feminine contrast to the menswear feel of the tweed. Gorgeous photos also from your other post about your snow hike. Must be that polaroid filter that adds the gorgeous contrast of blues & blacks.

  4. the lace top & the rope climbing top at the end = both are awesome supreme! haha

  5. So pretty, professional and perfect! Who knew elbow patches could be so chic? I love the muted tones.

  6. Love your lace top and blazer!

  7. What a cool blazer – I’ve always wanted a tweed one with suede elbow patches! Love the shorts and tights look!

  10. This is such a cute outfit. I really like your top.
Weren’t your legs freezing? I wanted to wear a dress this weekend but was pretty sure my legs would turn into popsicles.

  11. I love the blazer with the shorts! That last pictures is REALLY cute, too!

  12. Love the blazer and shorts look, especially since it has elbow pads. I’m pretty sure my dad has something like this in his closet. I might have to raid it sometime soon even though it will be big on me. haha 🙂

  13. sooo pretty! i cant believe you thrifted that blazer!

  14. Love all the warm brown colours, this outfit looks so warm and cute!

  15. That tweed blazer is fantastic. It does have a very academic look to it, and I think you wear it well.

  16. That lace shirt is fantastic and I love the blazer!
