So I think when winter comes I have a love/hate relationship with coats. I one love them because its an easy way to make an outfit, but on the other hand you always have to wear a coat you can’t get away from that. I am always freezing, so I feel like I always have to plan a coat into my outfit even if I don’t want to.
On Saturday Carrie, me and Kev went into Boston for the day. We would be walking around a lot so it was one of those days a coat as your outfit is a must. I wore one of our newly made tunnel scarfs (which I am obsessed with!! and made so many over thanksgiving that I will be putting in my etsy shop tomorrow!!) my trench, jeans, and my dexter shoes and I really felt effortlessly cool all day. Very city like I guess. I think trench coats just have that vibe to them to me.
Carrie wore a thrifted ski jacket with a sweet Canada patch on it. It had a cinched waist that was super cute on her. She also wore her new moccasins that she got at American Eagle for a super amazing deal.

We decided to take pictures in my moms craft room. I love it in there. She had so much fun stuff to play with growing up. We got to make the coolest stuff all the time!

i was waiting for your outfit post!!! i missed it during the break! i have the same coat and i feel the same way. i seem to be wearing the same thing everyday because i have to wear a big coat over my outfits to walk around the city… but i like fall weather. i can wear cute dresses with tights or leggings!
I am a bit jealous of your mom’s craft room…my mom always had the best craft room too! I just cant seem to fit one in our house. Unfortunately my hubby takes up the spare room with our bicycles!
So sweet!! Aren’t sisters the best? 🙂 Can’t WAIT to see your scarfs in your shop!!
you are your sister are so cute! i can’t wait to meet you at the blogger meet up!
That scarf is fantastic! I need a coat with a Canada patch (my fiance is Canadian) like your sister’s!
That’s cool that your mom has a craft room. I bet that really nurtured your artistic talents & cool style. My grandparents owned a small local toy store when I was growing up. A kid’s dream, right?
You two are so cute!
I love your tunnel scarf! I’ve been thinking of knitting one for my basset hound so her ears don’t get too cold this winter but now I want one for myself!
I found your blog through Delightfully Tacky and I’m loving it so far! Can’t wait to continue reading! 😀
Just because it’s a Canadian patch, doesn’t mean it’s sweet. haha, juuust kidding.
Trench coat, skinny jeans, and oxfords… I might have to steal this combo. I’ve been trying to figure out how to wear my trench coat… and yours looks so good, I want to pull mine out and try it!
I LOVE that scarf and when you put it in your etsy shop, I WILL be buying one! I’ve been shopping around for one but I’m always up for supporting handmade!
That trench is perfect and I’m in LOVE this your scarf!
