My sister Carrie is my littlest sister, she is 22, lives in Canada and is married to our awesome brother-in-law Joel. She usually is blonde (naturally) but when she showed up she had darker hair this time. It looked very beautiful on her and I guess made us look more like sisters- someone at the mall asked if we were twins! But that also could have been because we were buying this matching shirt at the time. hehe. We live 7 hours apart so we figured why not have a matching shirt!
Everyone and their mother is wearing plaid lately but that didn’t stop us from wanting this buffalo plaid shirt. Plaid is cool- especially red and black! I love it! There are lots of ways to style up this tunic- as you can see Carrie tucked it into a skirt with some cute boots. I wore it more causal with jean leggings and some chucks.
We tried to be extra modely in some of them but that just resulted in laughter…

You and your sister certainly do look alike, and I like both outfits!

Wow you DO look like twins! Haha. It’s amazing how much hair color can really change a person! I’m about to go dark in two weeks (set up an appointment yesterday). I’m so excited! I’m a blonde naturally as well but this is the first time I’ve ever dyed my hair darker. I hope it turns out well.
Great post! You are both so darling!
okay you two are just freaking adorable! and I love the pooch in the first shot. the tunic is fabulous on you jen… red really is your color!
You and your sister are the cutest! I’m visiting my sisters for the holidays this year. Now I’m thinking we need to do an adorable photo shoot while I’m in town. 😉
Yay for sisters and matching clothes!
Great photos. You two look like you’re having a fantastic time. I love how you both styled your own looks. I’m jealous – I always wanted a sister. I used to try & dress up my baby bro, but alas he was a tough little guy.
You two look super cute in your matching shirts. When I was little I thought twins always had to dress alike.
This is so cute! You guys are adorable.
These are great photos! You both look darling!
My sister and I do the same thing–we live on opposite coasts. But, it never fails when we are visiting each other we always end up wearing the same pieces and one of us has to go change!
Oh my. You two are so cute.
Aww you and your sister are too cute together!
I’m so jealous of this post because my sister just moved to Canada for a year 🙁
