I miss my hubby!

Dear Kev
I miss you- tonight I started looking thru my blog archive looking at all our posts from when we lived in hawaii. (p.s. did you know that if you go to my blog archive the beginning year of posts are all from when Kev and me lived in hawaii, they are pretty fun!) I was specifically looking for this picture. It is one of my favorite. You have crazy hawaii beach hair and your eyes are crazy and you have a big smile on your face and you are eating shave ice. Its just the best picture. It makes me smile and makes me think about how much I love you. 2 more days till we are together again…

  1. What an adorable picture! Hang in there, Jen!!

  2. Jen, I found your blog a few weeks ago and have been enjoying reading it ever since. I remember reading that you had lived in Hawaii when I first found the blog. Anyway, today I saw the pic of your husband on the North Shore so I went back and looked through some of your archive photos.
We lived on Oahu two times. From 2002-2004 and 2007-2008. My husband is military. The thing that I found most amusing was that you worked at Navy Hale Keiki school. My middle daughter went there for the two years we lived in Hawaii the first time! I probably know many of the parents of children you had in your class. My youngest child was born in 2004 at Tripler Army Medical Center. It is the huge pink building that you can see from H-1.
I also like hearing about your life in upstate NY. I was born in Albany and all of my extended family is from that area. My husband and I lived in Saratoga Springs, NY right after we first got married.
This probably all sounds so disjointed, but I get so excited when I hear of someone who lived in Hawaii. I love, love, love it there and would love to move back someday. We live in Northern Virginia now – very nice area and great for the children, but Hawaii is in my blood now!!!
Hope you are having a great vacation in Florida – it looks so beautiful.
    Love the blog!

  3. That’s an awesome picture. And I could use a shaved ice or whatever they call it in Hawaii (we have sno cones round these parts), as it’s hot as hell here in the Northeast right now.

  4. Mmmm shave ice- I will have to say that a snowcone no way compares to shave ice. They look the same but they are way different somehow. I dont know how but they are….

  5. in baltimore they call snowcones snowballs and tons of just totally random people sell them off their front porches for like 75 cents.

they LOAD them with sugar syrup too. pretty disgusting but in the tastiest way.

  6. Your husband looks like a cross between a cherib and a “surfer dude”. In that picture. Maybe a “Cherib Dude”? A handsome man for a pretty girl.

  7. awww. loving that hair!
ps: i had NO idea you lived in hawaii…do tell

Honestly, everything tastes better in Hawaii! 😉 The shaved Ice never disappoints there!

Aww, this is so sweet! Wow, living in Hawaii sounds like a dream…it must have been amazing!

  10. Kev looks like a blond Carrot Top in this picture. Also he looks like Matthew MnConaughy. We should call him Carrot McConaughy. Awesome.

  11. This is how I always picture Kev.

  12. This just makes me want to go on vacation someplace hot and near water!

By the way, this post is super sweet! I love how much you are in love with your husband.
