Hawaii recap…

So for spring vacation I headed back to hawaii for the first time since we moved. I was so excited- I had bought this ticket like months and months ago and it was crazy that it was acutally time to go. I was a little nervous to fly by myself and to go back without kev because that was our first home together and it would be weird there without him. Anyways the long flight was well worth seeing jenni, toby, caden and cody!!! I cant believe how much the boys have grown. It was so so great to see them- I had missed them all so much.

Its funny how when you live there you start to forget (well not forget but) how amazingly beautiful it is there- it truely is one of the craziest landscapes. The mountains are just breath taking. Even small things when I was back I would be like “did I really appreciate this when I was here?” I sure hope so! for example the mountains in the background of the park by our apt… crazy!

Jenni was nice enough to make sure that I got to do everything I wanted to do or see when I was there. We got to go to jamba jucie like 3 times!! ahh the smell when you open those doors! We drove around the island, we went up the pali hwy, we went to my most favoritest beach Makapu’u, we went into waikiki, we went to kailua and lanikai. I even saw Desmond from LOST running on the street when we were in Lanikai. We had amazing picnic lunches, and had a 70 dollars manicure and pedicure. It was quite a vacation. I even got to spend a night with Jamey and Janessa!! I had forgotten how much of an amazon women I feel like next to those two-boy they are small. hehe. I had missed seeing them and it was good to catch up. We even saw whales!! We went on a hike and it was humpback whale season and we saw whales everywhere- Kev and me had never gotten to see that when we lived there.

On my way out there my plane got delayed and they bumped me from american to northwest so I could get there when I was suppose to- at first I was bummed but then on my flight which was 9 hours from st.paul to honolulu. I had my own tv and movies on demand!!! It had tons of movies on it and games that you could use the remote as a controller to play- ummmm it was awesome! What an easy way to make a 9 hour flight plesant. The way home on the other hand- that was a long long trip. I wish i had been back on Northwest. On 1 of my 3 american flights I got to watch beverly Hills chihuahua with no sound no less.ugh! I cried when I saw kev finally after leaving honolulu on sunday afternoon at 4pm and arriving in hartford at 12:30pm on monday afternoon. I dont think I could have waited or taken any longer getting home to him.
I love hawaii! and love jenni!
