The Lake Placid Lodge…

o One of kevs clients are this hotel group that owns these extremely luxurious hotels around the Country. Now he has gotten to stay at most of them not even once a few times and he has even been flown out to Santa Fe to stay at one of them called the Five Graces. These are hotels that are well over $1000 dollars a night. One of them you dont even get the address to until you have booked your reservations. Anyways- this weekend being married to him paid off (haha jk). The Lake Placid Lodge is one of the hotels that is upstate NY obvisously in Lake Placid, well i guess awhile ago the main lodge burnt down and now the New one is just finished and they needed kev to come up and take some pictures of some of the new rooms and new features of the lodge. He so nicely thinking of me said he would come if they gave him a room for the night so that he could bring me along. YAY! So off we went to Lake Placid for the weekend for a free gateway. Our room which was our own separate cabin was gorgeous with our a fire place- own private sitting area outside, beautiful bathroom with giant tub, and the most comfortable bed ever (which I now refer to as “the Princess bed” ). After we got settled in our room we were told they had made us reservations in the dining room. I think the dinner would have cost us if we were paying over $250- it was great and alittle nerve racking because I dont feel like I am that fancy and sort of felt out of place. Still fun to experience though. It was a great night. THe next day we got to go on a boat ride around the lake- which I got a called from the front desk that went like this…”Mrs. Richardson I have been informed that your husband is beckoning you down to the boat dock.” haha so funny. As much fun as it was Kev did have to work alittle and take photos and the place and the new Hacker Craft boat they just got. Lake Placid is beautiful- I had never been there before and will def. go back again.
here are some photos kev took…

Wedding Weekend…

This past sunday we went to Kev’s boss’s wedding. It was the most beautiful day- it was gorgeous. The wedding was outside by the mohawk River in NY. I love going to weddings- they are just so happy and you get to dress up! We had a really awesome time!! My friend Ben from High School was the photographer for them (go to his website www.Benjaminburrows.net and look at his blog, he’s so talented!) so it was nice to have a friend there because I didnt know tons of people. I am getting pretty close with the people from kev’s work, they are all great people and are alot of fun…
