So one time on our way to ikea in New Haven we passed this very strange very large lake- it has this huge damn at one end and just seems very eeerey for some reason. Anyways we decided to go check it out. It was a beautiful setting and we had a great time. The highlight of the trip was we decided to kayak up to the top of the lake where this river was rushing into the lake- it had some small rapids but it also had some very large rocks in the way. Kev decided to go play around in the rapids and after getting up some confidence decided to paddle up farther and then come down the river into the lake with the rapids. hahaha this is where is gets funny. We just have leisure kayaks we dont have skirts for them or anything- anyways the current ending up turning kevs kayak sideways which then made him get pinned by a rock, which then filled up his kayak with the rushing water, which then made him flip over, which then made he start screaming that he was loosing the car keys as the current took kev and his sinking kayak rushing down the lake. Oh man it was funny to watch.
