so i have not worn socks in about 7 months. I didnt even bring any socks here to hawaii with me, sooo that means that i dont even own a pair of socks. Then I bought a new pair of running shoes the other day because i figured my stupid reeebok old school shoes werent cutting it now that we are running close to 5 miles day and im suffering from constant shin splints. Now i didnt wear socks in those old shoes so i figured i wouldnt wear them in these ones either cause i hate socks, well that didnt go over very well because i got the worse blisters EVER on both heels from it. So i needed socks but i dont own socks remember, i guess i could go out an buy some but i cant bring my self to do that yet. Any ways erin sent me halloween socks for my birthday that i had yet to wear and had been keeping them for when i went home cause in the winter i love socks just not in warm weather. WELL those purple bat socks saved my heels life. THey may not be the most fashionable pair of socks/ running shoe combination you have ever seen but they do the trick for me. Now i bet you are all stunned that i could write such a long post about a pair of purple bat socks…

so on our anniversary last april i got kev some of those toy cameras, well i got him a holga and a camera that takes 4 pictures at once. anyways the 4 at 1 camera we took with us to niagra faalls and used half the roll there and than with the busy-ness of life we didnt use it again till we got kevs mom and dad to send it out to us here. So then nthe other half the roll i sed out here and we finally got the pictures developed yesterday and let me just say, THEY CAME OUT SO AWESome!! What a sweet little camera. I mean sure you could arrange pictures to look like this on photoshop you dont need a camera to do it for you, but then you loose the spontinaity (spelling ?). Every picture was cool in its own way. PLus it was funny to have half a roll from niagra falls and the other half of pictures in hawaii. crazy journey from april to now. anyways here are some of my favorite ones from the roll…

so i hope everyone had a nice thanksgiving. we decided to have a mexican feast instead of turkey. We went over to our friends house and had tamales, refried beans, chilied corn, spanish rice, taco salad, salsa, gaucamole… it was sooo good. WAY BETTER THAN STUPID TURKEY. hehe

THE SEASON PREMIERE OF SCRUBS IS NOV. 30TH YIPPIE!!!!

so there has been alot of stuff going on here with us. Its gettting kind of depressing for me that there are constant reminders everywhere that it is suppose to feel like christmas the greatest time of the year and it just doesnt. How can it though? Christmas to me is cold weather snow and family none of which we have. We keep going to borders and i keep trying to listen to the one christmas cd that i really want “third day christmas offerings” but they only let me hear little snipits of each song. grrr. Anyways i had 2 new christmas cds i bought last year and i wish that i had brought them. Its still 25 more days till we come home. Far but near i guess. WE ARE SO EXCITED TO COME HOME!!! we cant wait to see everyone, and my grandparents are coming for christmas which is awesome. all i have to say is that amy better be home too! Mom R got us tickets to go see the pops again on christmas eve, yippie!!!1 I absolutly loved going last year so i am so excited to go again. PLus I cant wait to wear some fancy christmas outfit. ok ok enough about christmas, although we would be going to get our christmas tree back home on friday, sniff sniff.

ERic and Erin got married on Saturday!!!! We are so so happy for them, i hope that it was an awesome day. We are so bummed we had to miss it. moving away has made us realize how much people should value their friends. We are also sad cause we know they are moving sometime at the end of the school year, which is of course awesome for them but sad they wont be there when we get back. I cant wait to see pictures of the wedding!!

Laura will be due in one… ONE month when i see her at christmas. that is crazy! I cant believe it. little baby anthony.

has anyone ever seen the pete and pete episode where pete is the range boy who dresses as a bear and pete and arty are trying to win the longest shot competition but end up hitting a turtle and giving it amnesia? its awesome!

we had an art show on saturday night, well kev did and i just put stuff up under his name. Its was so much fun making all our pieces and rushing to get them finished but the art show was kinda lame. Oh well, it was still fun. PLus we got the magazine that kev is the features artist in this month. It looks great, well of course his stuff looks great, the lady just did a crappy job laying it all out.

we are going ot be having a mexican thanksgiving this year and boy o boy are we excited. We are going over to our friends matt and bethany and having a huge mexican feast with tamales +plus lots. heheh we are looking forward to it.

we saw the movie last kiss last night, it was exactlly like garden state but about 10 times more depressing. good over all but hard to shake the depressing feeling you were left with.

my mom got to come to class with me last thursday…

its hard to have your mom here and then have to say good bye and then go back to life with out family.
p.s did i mention that we hit a dog??
it was crazy and scary. all the sudden the dog jumped out of the moving truck (we didnt know that part until after) in the other direction of traffic but all we saw suddenly was this flying thr the air and tumbling right in front of the car was this dog. kev slammed on the brakes but he hit the front corner of the bumper. there was a big dent, we ran back to see if the dog was ok, the owners obvisously stopped to and told us he jumped out. The dog was bleeding a little in places and he was limping but he was going to be ok. It was scary though.

so my mom was here with us this past weekend. She arrived wednesday and she just left this afternoon. It was short but we had an awesome time. We saw some cock-roachs, lots o’ cats, a very large frog, a shark pond, and the largest sea turtle we’ve seen yet, we rented scooters and i had to race a city bus up a hill. We did lots of fun things and ate lots of good food. Ill be posting some pictures soon.

also today we saw a guy wearing 2 oven mitts when he was driving, it was crazy.
