I love S’mores. I think they are the ultimate summer dessert (of course next to strawberry shortcake). We were having a bbq with friends last week and I offered to bring dessert. I decided to make some easy oven baked s’mores to kick off the first bbq of the season. Easiest dessert ever.
1. Line baking sheet with graham crackers.
2. Pile on chocolate chips and marshmallows.
3. Stick in a preheated oven (400 degrees) and cook for about 5 mins. Keep a close eye on them. It doesn’t take that long.
4. Sandwich up the two halves.
5. Line your baking sheet with wax paper.
6. In a double broiler, melt the rest of the chocolate chips. Dip half of the s’mores in the melted chocolate. Place back on baking sheet.
7. Sprinkle with sprinkles or other garnish (like toasted coconut, crushed health bar, etc…) Then place into fridge.

You are my hero! I have been craving smores for,oh the last 3 years, but without a real fireplace or firepit, I am left to just crave them. These look awesome!! I am totally going to bring these to the next party we go to…or maybe I will just make a batch tonight for my husband and I, that would be ok too, right? Right. Thanks for sharing!

I can’t believe I have never had a smore before. These look absolutely amazing. Though, I don’t think we have graham crackers in the UK. I’ll keep looking though!

Oh wow they look yum! Like the lady above I’m from the UK and can never find Graham Crackers. Are they similar to a digestive – a very plain biscuit, or are they salty, or sweet? They look amazing! We have lots of nice biscuits over here, but I’d love to find something to makre it like a real s’more!

I am going to a backyard party tomorrow. Is this a dessert that you need to eat right away or can I make the day before? Concerned that the marshmallow will be too chewy.
