*sigh* another lovely dress from ModCloth that I can’t buy because their dresses are always too short to wear to work – I wish they made some a little longer. However, this one is beyond fabulous with the fall color … I wonder if there’s any way I could make it longer …

I agree about the shortness. Your legs are great, Jen, but I will never order from mod cloth because I don’t think I could wear the dresses to work. With tights, maybe. I liked your idea once though of wearing a lace-trimmed slip underneath. I bought one recently (at the art fest actually!) that I’m going to try out with some shorter dresses.

Yes, some of the dresses from modcloth are short, but I am also super tall. I am 5’9″. For everyday I think this dress is great. Modcloth has a terrific Longer Length section where you can find all dresses with a longer hemline. Be sure to check them out!
