This is the dress I wore out and about on our anniversary. It is seriously so cute. I love the stripes with the peter pan collar. The back is really cool as well. I didn’t get a good picture to show you though. We walked around a lot that day. We walked through the Tulleries, around the St. Martin canal and locked a lock on the Pont de Arts bridge.

If you have ever been to Paris, you have probably seen the bridge with all the locks on it. It has become a tradition “for lovers” to buy a padlock, lock it on the bridge and then throw the key into the Seine. Kinda cheesy but also kinda fun. Since it was our anniversary, we decided to give it a go. There were 2 keys with the lock, so we each wrote a little something on the keys and then threw them into the water.

So cute!! Jen, I just have to ask if those Forever XXI wedges were walkable in Paris? I loove my heels and wedges, but I’m going to London and Vienna in a few weeks and debating whether to take any heels or just flat sandals? As much as I love my heels, I also know all about blisters… :o

The locket tradition is pretty popular here in Italy as well. Apparently here it all started with an underground book (that was later published and became a movie) that used to circle around in high-schools. It’s called “tre metri sopra il cielo” and it’s a trubled love story.
