Nothing like a fresh coat of nail polish and a new hair color to give you a brand new outlook. I woke up early yesterday because I wanted to make sure I had time to do all that before Kev’s parents came over. All the red in my hair has been growing out and was becoming more and more brassy looking (which I did not like) so I decided to dye it a more all over brown. The red still shows a little bit but I really love how it came out. Nothing drastic but subtle enough that I really like the change.

There is also something about newly painted nails that makes me feel so pretty. It lifts my spirits and when they match an outfit that is even more exciting to me. I knew I was going to be wearing this dress for Easter, I have been saving it since February. So I painted my nails this electric purple to match. I really just love how this whole outfit came together. The shoes, the necklace, bracelet, my nails, it all made me feel like a million bucks. Haha when really it was only about $50- Pretty good I’d Say!

Beautiful! Make sure you use Toluene, Formaldehyde and DBP (aka phylate) free nail polish so its safe for the baby.

I love that shade of purple! That was my nail color of choice all last summer.
Kev’s shirt reminds me of Anthro’s Reed shirtdress in ‘blue’, haha. Pretty awesome.
