So there was no “Dress like a Teacher Day” because we had a snow day. Bummer! Although, I did really need the day off. There is just too much stuff going on! Albany did not get a lot of snow though, like nothing, so it was a good day to get errands and things done. I went shopping trying to find something to wear this weekend for NYFW. I am going to a very fancy Girls Night Out tomorrow with a bunch of extremely lovely bloggers. I can’t wait to meet everyone!! Julie and me are heading down to the city for the weekend tomorrow after work. I can’t wait to share all the pictures with you guys on Monday.
Tomorrow is also the last day of school before vacation!! So excited!!! NYC this weekend with friends and then Hawaii on Tuesday with the love of my life!! Yippie!
I found this jean shirt at the goodwill last week and was really excited to wear it. I also got this fuzzy leopard belt. I love finding good things thrifting, it’s so rewarding…

Denim Shirt: Goodwill $2
Leopard Belt: Goodwill $.99
Skirt: H&M $20

Cute! I like how you paired the more rugged shirt with girlie tights and a leopard belt! Sooo jealous of both of your trips, I will be stuck in the midwest until spring break!

So jealous you found a leopard belt for just $.99!! That item is so versatile, you’ll be wearing it all the time
I haven’t been to Goodwill in forever, I live in a college town so everything good gets snatched up right away….Its also interesting to go to different neighborhoods with a Goodwill and seeing the difference in merch, do you ever notice that? A higher end neighborhood recently opened a Goodwill and all their stuff is from Target – it’s a goldmine! Other older neighborhoods have great vintage finds. Love it.

That shirt is so cute. I like how you dressed it up too. I think I need to take a trip to the big mall over my break to look for some tights like those. My nearest H&M and F21 are over an hour away!

Awesome finds! We have had some snow where I am at too, but not enough for a snow day either-but we got one.

so sad you missed out on dress like a teacher day.
I bet the kids are seriously bummed (other than the fact they have a snow day, of course)
Maybe you all can make up for it.
by the way I stumbled on this post, which relates to the topic of posting photos of students/minors on your blog. I don’t mean to suggest this is the proper approach, but this is how one woman handles it…. http://melssweettreats.blogspot.com/2010/02/baking-for-haiti.html

This is such a cute outfit! It looks like you got a good deal on everything too. I’m just now getting into the whole waist belt thing. Thanks for the great outfit idea. Keep up the good work.
