Thanks for all the ideas for getting yourself out of a clothing rut. They were very sweet and quite helpful. I appreciated every single one.
I am going to part of a secret swap in the next few weeks and I am excited about it. I know it will help! Plus I like the idea of getting excited about outfits for when I am in Hawaii. There’s a good way to get ready for spring and summer, right?. I also am heading in to NYC the weekend before we leave for Hawaii with Julie for some awesome Fashion Week fun. We are going to some events that I am totally excited to dress up for! Lots to look forward too!
On to this outfit. I had not worn this skirt to work yet because the last time I wore it, it was for a dress up event. I wasn’t sure how to dress it down for school. I decided to wear less jewelry, a more fun top and my flat boots. I think it ended up working well for school.

I have to be honest, sometimes I think F21 is one scary place where fashion comes too fast and cheap but I would make an effort to go for that skirt. I love me some brocade!
