Thanks for all the ideas for getting yourself out of a clothing rut. They were very sweet and quite helpful. I appreciated every single one.
I am going to part of a secret swap in the next few weeks and I am excited about it. I know it will help! Plus I like the idea of getting excited about outfits for when I am in Hawaii. There’s a good way to get ready for spring and summer, right?. I also am heading in to NYC the weekend before we leave for Hawaii with Julie for some awesome Fashion Week fun. We are going to some events that I am totally excited to dress up for! Lots to look forward too!
On to this outfit. I had not worn this skirt to work yet because the last time I wore it, it was for a dress up event. I wasn’t sure how to dress it down for school. I decided to wear less jewelry, a more fun top and my flat boots. I think it ended up working well for school.

Swap clothes with me! Swap clothes with me! Hihi
This is a ridiculously cute outfit, I love to color of the blouse it really pops. You pick such wonderful color combinations, I can never think of anything interesting besides the basics.
I love this outfit! I think you dressed the skirt down for work perfectly. Also, I love how the pink blouse and green bracelet pop.
You totally rocked this “dress down” version of this look! Love it!
Cute I love that green bracelet! It’s a nice contrast with the pink!
Very pretty skirt. I should have bought that skirt when I saw it at F21.
Hi Jen, I just love your blog! I would love to see a special post on what to pack for vacation/outfit ideas based around your upcoming trip to Hawaii! I think it would be super inspiring!
What a lovely shirt color! It goes perfectly with that skirt. You look awesome!
i love the quirkiness of the green bracelet with pink top. bright accessories are such a great way to add color.

I love the color of your top : )
I have to be honest, sometimes I think F21 is one scary place where fashion comes too fast and cheap but I would make an effort to go for that skirt. I love me some brocade!
I love this! That skirt is darling..!
I love this color combination! I never would have thought to pair bubblegum pink with that gorgeous brocade skirt, but it looks fan-freakin-tastic!
