On Saurday night we had a big family dinner at my parents house with kev, me, my sister, her friend, my parents and kev’s parents. It was really nice to all be together. Since Kev and me meet at college there was a good chance that our families would have lived far apart, but we lucked out because they only live like 20 mins away from each other.
I have had this tweed blazer for a couple years now. I just love it! It is super warm and I love that it has elbow pads. Everyone was calling me professor on Sat. haha I guess it is very educational looking. Fitting though I guess.

I like the outfit! I actually think I own a really similar blazer, but I have to get it taken it because it’s too big.

Love the little button & lace detail on your top. It’s a nice feminine contrast to the menswear feel of the tweed. Gorgeous photos also from your other post about your snow hike. Must be that polaroid filter that adds the gorgeous contrast of blues & blacks.

Weren’t your legs freezing? I wanted to wear a dress this weekend but was pretty sure my legs would turn into popsicles.

Love the blazer and shorts look, especially since it has elbow pads. I’m pretty sure my dad has something like this in his closet. I might have to raid it sometime soon even though it will be big on me. haha

That tweed blazer is fantastic. It does have a very academic look to it, and I think you wear it well.
