So today was kind of a plain day I thought. Nothing too exciting about this outfit but I planned it that way. I put together the outfit around my new brooch that I made. I think this is one of my most favorite pins I have made yet. I have been a busy bee all week making stuff for my etsy shop. There will be a shop update this Thursday with new brooches (including this one), headbands, and MORE TUNNEL SCARFS!! This brooch is really cool, I love the color and the center has some extra flare with some goodies I picked up at M&J Trimmings last time I was in NYC. You can’t really tell because it is against my black sweater but there is also a little black tulle coming out from behind it. So Cute!

Sometimes the simplest outfits are the best. A perfect backdrop for a little color. I love this outfit. I also like the yellow lettering on the trash receptacle? (is that the right word?) behind you.

definitely on board with this outfit! also, i keep forgetting, but thank you ! thank you thank you! for the surprise package! i got it after we got back into town, and it’s been crazy, but i really love all of it! the headband is my new favorite, as i have a weird head adn can’t normally stand headbands! i am in love with it. i am going to wear the brooch to work as soon as i get a little bolder (i’m a super boring dresser, adn we have to wear all black, so i’m hesitant on the loud accessories). i ended up giving the shirt to my niece (as it was much too small) but she is now also reading your blog when she gets the chance! thanks again!

Ok that pin is fantastic.

Also, that’s it, I am getting myself a pair of those polka dot tights this weekend. I am sick of looking at pics of them being all adorable on other people. Enough is enough!
