So one of the porjects we do in ceramics around this time is year is make egg rattles. We learn about how different cultures use rattles in all different types of ceronmies and purposes that they just aren’t for babies. We talk about the Gourd rattles that are used in the hula and things like that. Anyways i amde 2 last year as examples but this year I wanted to make a bunch for my self for easter. Each one has a very unique and different rattle when you shake them. Here is how they came out…

and here are the finished 7. I broke on of the petals on the orange flower one but I think for the most part I think they came out wonderful!!
