so we got to see She & Him at the folk fest which was my favorite part- they were amazing. If you dont know who they are yet then you should go and listen to them because i love them!! Go now- Zooey Deschanel has to be one of the cutest people alive. We also got to see Jim James from My Morning Jacket perform solo which was awesome. We saw Jakob Dylan which was also awesome- and then the best surprise of the day and one of my favorites were The Young@Heart Chorus. They were absolutely unbelievable!!! If you havent heard about them before they have a website and you can youtube them -but they are a chorus from Northampton made up of 70+ yrs men and women and they cover songs like The Ramones, Radiohead, the Talking heads, The flaming Lips etc… They did this awesome version of Purple haze. It was so heart warming and entertaining to watch- I couldnt get enough. It was so so good.
